As of today, July 17th, I am now offering Animal Reiki! This is a particular passion of mine. Animals are pure, gentle, and holy, and I love serving them.
If you would like a distance session, I would be honored to work with your animal. I listen to the animal’s needs above any preconceived notions I might be tempted to have. (I think all practitioners have this temptation to some degree. We must actively strive to approach clients, including animals, as equal participants and teachers.)
My Animal Reiki Offerings
A live session involves a video call in which you show the animal on screen and I offer Reiki to it, watching for live feedback from the animal. Animals often move around during a Reiki session. They might show which spots to target or indicate that they are done with the session by moving away. If the animal moves definitively away from the screen before the session is half over, I will calculate the price for the period of time spent, and I will refund you the rest.
An asynchronous session is best for when the animal is severely ill, unable to sit still for a long period of time, aggressive, or anxious, or if you as their caregiver do not have time for a session. After you book, I will ask you to fill out a form, in which you will answer some questions about your animal’s needs and upload an image of their full body in side profile. I will then energetically connect with the animal at a time we arrange, and I will send Reiki to them. Animals may take a few days to integrate Reiki energy, though many immediately become calmer and feel a reduction in pain during a session. I recommend that you watch your animal during the remote session period to see how they are responding.
In-Person Options (Limited)
Animals sometimes require an in-person connection, since they operate differently from humans. They may need to physically sense that I am a safe person, and they cannot explain their distress. If you live in eastern or central Massachusetts or southern New Hampshire, we can discuss an in-person session, especially for larger animals. For animals in Vermont, Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, or western Massachusetts who need Reiki, contact me and I will look at my availability to try to make it work. Outside of that range, I apologize sincerely – I cannot make the trip during this period of my life. I still love your animal and would be glad to treat them over a video call, and things may change in the future!
